About the data
MedResin lists 338 medical-grade resin grades from 26 manufacturers. Every value comes from public supplier literature: manufacturer datasheets, brochures and product pages. Each grade page links the document used.
What the values mean
| Value | Meaning |
|---|---|
| ✔ / yes | The cited source states the grade meets the standard or is compatible with the method. |
| limited | The source states compatibility with limits, such as a restricted number of cycles. |
| no | The source states the grade is not suitable. |
| blank | Not stated by the source. This is not a "no". |
| DMF / MAF | The source references an FDA Drug Master File or Device Master File. |
Manufacturer data
Where possible, values come from the manufacturer's own brochure, data sheet or product page. Gamma dose and autoclave/steam cycle figures are copied as the manufacturer states them; we never estimate them. When sources disagree, the grade page notes the conflict and uses the manufacturer value.
Fields
USP Class VI, ISO 10993 (biocompatibility references), FDA master file, and gamma, ethylene oxide (EtO), steam/autoclave and vaporized hydrogen peroxide (VHP) sterilization compatibility.
Limits
Data was last checked 2026-10-16. Supplier statements change and grades get discontinued. A material statement isn't a device approval. Always confirm with the manufacturer's current documentation and your own validation. Featured listings never change data fields. Found an error? Suggest a correction.
